my baby girl starts school today….

Aw, what a cutie pie! Totally adorable photo of her! Today was my little girl’s first day too. Hope your daughter has a fantastic day!
ahh! so precious! My son is already asking to go to school! He thinks school is just like Sid the Science Kid! So he might start singing in the play ground! HA!
awww, they grow too fast don’t they?! she is sweet and I hope her first day was great!
She’s beautiful. I hope it went well.
Awww! She is growin up!
What a natural, sweet image- gorgeous!
wow! it seems like just yesterday i first saw her ‘baby’ picture (…the uber-awardwinning black and white)! congratulations, little bug! (and congratulations, mommy).
oh my gosh. this is unreal. she looks SOOOOOOOOO much like you! She’s GORGEOUS! Love it.
Ps. I miss you and um. you need family pictures. XOXO
I **heart** NY! I feel lucky that I was able to manage a work/play trip earlier this summer - nothing could’ve made this California girl happier than having a client ask “would you be interested in flying to NYC to shoot a session in Central Park?” WOULD I? Heck yeah! I love my So Cal beaches, but boulders and lakes and SKYLINES?? Super cool! I put the word out that I was *coming to town* (and by the way, I will come back ANY time, so if you are reading this just say the word!) and soon had several sessions lined up. These two lovely ladies flew in from Pittsburgh and we had the best time traipsing all over Central Park. My *models* were amazing, they were up for anything, climbing trees, jumping off rocks and being absolutely adorable…

Very nice! I like how the city in the background is blown out so that it almost fades away. Really feels like the park and the girls are separate from the big city all around them.
these are beautiful Jen! It must have been so much fun to have a new location to play in.
You are just too cool!! when i grow up i wanna be just like you!!
FANTASTIC!! and I am SO jealous. I have never been to NY.
gorgeous! next time you go to new york i’m totally going to hide in your suitcase.
Very fun images and great memories to have forever!
Gorgeous work!! I’m totally jealous of your New York assignment. :) I can certainly see why they wanted you to fly over!
OH I adore these. What an amazing location. I am taking my family to New York in October and can’t wait to check out Central Park. It hadn’t occurred to me to do a shoot with my children but you can bet after being inspired by you with these images, I am so going to now.
Hey look at me!! I can comment now that I switched to Firefox! (i’m a retard and slow sometimes) These are BE-A-UTIFUL! I’m ready to fly to New York anytime you want to! I Love the girls scrunched up in the corner of the frame and Central Park meandering in the backgroud!
So awesome, great shots and an awesome location!
unbelievable! what an amazing opportunity to travel to the Big Apple…and how cool that people came from all over for the New York Sessions. these rock!
wow, this is the first time i looked at these. spectacular!
Just got back from our last summer getaway before school starts - had an interesting conversation with my brother-in-law regarding *Social Media* (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc..) Came home to find this link- I thought the stats shared were REALLY interesting - what do you think???

And because no post is complete without a photo - here is a gratuitous shot of my baby girl and my niece from this weekend - catching a wave! These little monkeys are like two peas in a pod - they are two of the most adventurous *NO FEAR* little four-year-old kiddos around!
Leave a comment and tell me what you think! Have you embraced social media yet? I’m curious… (or you can just tell me how cute my little munchkins are!)

They moved away to Las Vegas and I have missed seeing their little faces (and beautiful blue eyes!) We got all caught up quickly - jumping off the lifeguard stand, splashing through the waves….how much do I LOVE my job???!! LOOK HERE to see how they looked last time I saw them….and now take a look at what beautiful young ladies they are….

It was a beautiful day for a beach session at Paradise Cove - we had such a great time - lots of laughs…I hope you all love these photos as much as I do…..

It seems like just the other day that we were here….
….and now Riley’s new baby sister has arrive - introducing the beautiful Miss Ava…. (isn’t she stunning??)

….but Mommy still has her little man - I LOVE LOVE LOVE their expressions in this series!

I know, I know - you want to see that cute little grin a little closer….

A LOT of Beanie Babies live at this house! When Riley was a munchkin, he frolicked in the basket with the babies, seemed only fair for Ava to have the same fun (or is it torture?? she doesn’t seem to mind!)

Until next time….I hope everyone out in Blogland has a safe and happy 4th!

It was so exciting to open up my mailbox and find the latest issue of ProPhotoWest with my photo of Alex featured! That gorgeous photo on the cover is by Ken Sklute. It was so absolutely stunning in person - I can’t believe I beat him out (just barely!) for Best in Show. Steve & Peggy Roosa, the editors of ProPhotoWest just won a big national award honoring it as the best state magazine - too cool! You can read about their award on their BLOG!
